It’s time to replace suffering with strategy.
About Ekaterina Escobar
Tell me what you really want.
Whether you’re coming to therapy as an individual or a couple, my job as your therapist is to find the roots of the problems you face day-to-day, and help you learn the skills and tools you need to move past what’s been holding you back.
With me, there’s no need to censor yourself. You can be completely open and honest without fear of judgment (I promise—there isn’t much you could say to shock me).
Tell me your story.
We’ll start by breaking down the issues that have brought you to therapy. I’ll put myself in your shoes, taking the time to really listen to your experiences, and then create a customized plan that’ll help you reach your goals. From there, I’ll keep those goals top of mind through every session, guiding our conversations in directions that will be productive so you can see results as soon as possible.
Here’s the thing about me: I get genuinely excited about seeing clients, new and seasoned, because I’m curious to hear about their lives and experiences. I make it a personal mission to help them solve the problems they bring to me, and I love being able to “travel” with them through our time together. It’s common for me to bring up things long-time clients told me years ago. I’m invested in this process with you.
I’m up for a challenge — how about you?
I believe anyone can change their life if they’re determined enough and willing to work for it. This is why I push people to realize their full potential, which means calling you out on BS when necessary.
Whether this will be your first time in therapy, or you’ve tried it before with lackluster results, I want to offer you something that other therapists probably haven’t: step-by-step instructions to improve yourself and your life.
My style
People say they like working with me because…
I’m not a “nod-and-smile” kind of therapist.
I like to actively engage in conversation with you to uncover helpful insights and understand how you think. I’ll help you learn to make the most of what you do have, rather than dwelling on what you wish you had. I encourage people to use their suffering to motivate change, and give them advice that is straightforward and immediately applicable.
I bring my whole, flawed self into sessions — jokes, swearing, ADHD, and all. That way, my clients feel comfortable being themselves, too.

My approach
I use a method called Relational Life Therapy (RLT).
-
Developed over the course of 30 years by acclaimed therapist Terry Real, RLT is a progressive therapy method that helps people understand and improve their relationships by exploring how past experiences influence their current interactions. Both individuals and couples can benefit from the principles presented by RLT, and use them to build healthier connections.
It focuses on practical strategies to communicate better, manage conflicts, and create healthier dynamics. Think of it as a guide to enhance your relationships, making them more fulfilling, mutually satisfying, and peaceful.
-
Before becoming certified in RLT myself, I watched it work in my own life. Going through Relational Life Therapy helped completely change my perspective on my marriage, and has transformed how my husband and I communicate and function as a couple.
If you’re dealing with all of the turmoil that comes along with a difficult relationship, just know that I feel your pain, and I want to help you overcome it.
-
Through RLT, you’ll learn how to…
Understand each other better & be on the same page
Change unhealthy patterns
Let go of resentment & tension
Feel confident & secure in your relationship
Restore trust, enthusiasm, & passion
Foster more positive moments & intimacy
